Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after G. pseudo (ψευδο), false, untrue, mistaken + Latin [Anolis] tigrinus, species due to PETERS, 1863. (AMARAL 1933, Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., April 2024)
