CommentNot on Trinidad (Stevland Charles, pers. comm.) 
EtymologyNamed after Latin ocellatus, having ocelli, little eyes or buttonholes (in the sense of round spots). [“...Aufserdem befindet sich auf dem Rücken eine unregelmälsige Reihe grofser runder schwarzer Flecke...“]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
