Type species: Feylinia boulengeri CHABANAUD 1917: 221 is the type species of the genus Chabanaudia CHABANAUD 1917.

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after George Albert Boulenger (1858-1937), herpetologist at the British Museum of Natural History, London.
