Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: mostly after BOULENGER 1885. ESQUERRÉ et al. 2022 synonymized Liolaemus (cyanogaster) brattstroemi with L. pictus. 
EtymologyNamed after Greek “kyanos” = blue and “gaster” = belly, after the bluish belly in this species.
