NCBI taxonID: 886396 [nasrullahi]
EtymologyFrom grise-, modern Latin griseus = gray + Greek notos, not- = back.

A. nasrullahi was named after “Nasrullah Rastegar-Pouyani, in recognition of his contribution to the knowledge of the herpetology of Iran, including the genus Asaccus. Moreover, "nasrullah" means "victory of God" which concept seems appropriate for the survival, discovery and rediscovery of this gecko species” [from WERNER 2006].
