Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Dorsal and lateral body scales lanceolate, keeled and imbricate; ventral scales quadrangular and juxtaposed; all tail scales similar to dorsals; prefrontals present but without medial contact; interparietal, frontonasal, nasals and parietals present; supraoculars 2-2; superciliaries 3-3; second pair of chin sliields in medial contact bnt not reacliing oral border-; femoral pores 2-2; preanal pores 1-1; anterior and posterior limbs moderately developed with four toes on each foot; preanal shields 3-4; SAB 36-40; dorsals 47-52; ventrals 36-42; gulars 8; maximum snout-vent length 78 mm (Dixon 1973: 18). |
