Type locality: New Caledonia, Province Nord, Tsiba, c. 3 km north of Ouaco, 20°48'14"S 164°28'19"E.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: C. euryotis, the only other species of the genus. 
Comment 
EtymologyThe epithet similis is Latin for similar or resembling, and refers to the great overall similarity of the new species to C. euryotis.
