Diagnosis 
CommentConsidered as Ctenosaura bakeri by BARBOUR 1928 or Enyaliosaurus bakeri by COCHRAN 1961. 
EtymologyThe specific name oedirhina is formed from the Greek oedos (or oidos; a swelling) and rhinos (nose), and refers ‘‘to the profile of the [swollen] snout compared with those of other Ctenosaura’’ (de Queiroz, 1987: 892).
