Diagnosis 
CommentGroup: Chan et al. 2023: 114 (Table 3) provide summary statistics of meristic traits for the members of the darmandvillei group, consisting of Cyrtodactylus santana, batucolus, darmandvillei, jellesmae, kimberleyensis, petani, sadleiri, and seribuatensis. 
EtymologyNamed after Father Cornelis J. de Cocq d'Armandville (1846-1896), a Dutch Jesuit missionary in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) who was stationed in East Ceram.
