Type locality: Achta, in the canyon of the Razdan River, Armenia, 1800 m elevation.  
Reproductionoviparous; parthenogenetic "species". Derived by hybridization of D. raddei and D. valentini (Murphy et al. 2000, Vergun et al. 2020).
