TypesLectotype: SMF 9701, apparently designated by Mertens 1967. 
Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy and distribution after MCGUIRE & ALCALA 2000. Mertens 1967: 62 considered Draco quadrasi as a synonym of D. spilopterus spilopterus. 
EtymologyNamed after Jose Florencio Quadras, a Spanish forester who made a collection of Philippine molluscs that is now in the Field Museum. He worked closely with Möllendorff when he visited the Philippines.
