tsaganbogdensis: S Mongolia; Type locality: Tsagaan Bogd Uul Mountain, Bayanhongor Aymak, southern Mongolia. Holotype: ZISP.19956.1, Department of Herpetology, Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg.

Type locality: Gobi Desert, Mongolia

Diagnosis 
CommentIllustration: Plate 27 in ZHAO & ADLER 1993.

Synonymy mainly after KHALIKOV & ANANJEVA (pers. comm.).

Subspecies: Eremias multiocellata stummeri WETTSTEIN 1940 and Eremias multiocellata szczerbaki are now considered as a valid species.

Distribution: not corrected for removal of stummeri and szczerbaki.
