CommentDistribution: The NE Iranian populations of E. elegans are conspecific with E. jaculus (ESKANDARZADEH et al. 2013, Rastegar-Pouyani et al. 2014). Eryx elegans has been erroneously (?) reported from India. Not in Pakistan fide KHAN 2004. For a map see Sindaco et al. 2013. Not in Turkmenistan fide Shestopal & Shcherbina 2024.
