Comment | Status unclear. Euprepis polylepis PETERS 1869 is listed in BOULENGER 1887: 157 as synonym of Mabuia stangeri (GRAY). Another synonym of Mabuia stangeri is Euprepes hopfferi BOCAGE 1875. |
Etymology | Apparently named after the high number of scales, from Greek polys (πολύς), several + Greek lepis (λεπίς), scale. |
