The specimen illustrated in JAN & SORDELLI is actually Hologerrhum philippinum with doubtful locality data.

Type species: Hologerrhum philippinum GÜNTHER 1858: 186 is the type species of the genus Hologerrhum GÜNTHER 1858. 
EtymologyNamed after its distribution in the Philippine Islands.
