Type locality: Massif montagneux de Marojezy, vers 300 m d’altitude [elevation]

Diagnosis 
CommentBehavior: diurnal

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after Charles Pierre Blanc (born 1933), French herpetologist and collector of the type.
