Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Costinisauria couperi WELLS 2009 is a synonym of Eulamprus kosciuskoi, not Lampropholis couperi (Glenn Shea, pers. comm. 3 April 2013). 
EtymologyNamed after Patrick J. Couper (b. 1958), a zoologist and geographer who was born in New Zealand and migrated to Australia (1981). He became Curator of Herpetology at the Queensland Museum, Brisbane in 1993.
