Type locality: "Andrahomana, sud de Madagascar."

Diagnosis 
CommentHabitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after Charles Alluaud (1861-1949), French entomologist, botanist, and naturalist who came from a wealthy family (his father was President of the Royal Porcelain Factory, Limoges).
