Type locality: “Termas de Aguas Calientes a 4,510 m [elevation], en las faldas del Volcán Tacora, Región de Arica, Chile

TypesHolotype: MNHNC (= MNHNCL) 5244, macho conservado en Etanol absoluto al 95%. Colectado en Aguas Calientes, en las faldas del Volcán Tacora, (17°43'15"S, 69°49'11"O, 4.510 msnm), General Lagos, Región de Arica, Chile, el 17 de febrero de 2015.

CommentSympatry: L. igneus, L. tacnae.

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017).
