Types	Holotype:-PNM 2046, an adult female captured on 28 April 1989, by H. Ota. Paratype.-USNM 319290, a juvenile female, (17°05'N, 121°25'E)
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: This species is distinct from other congeneric species in having the loreal nearly square and separated from the upper preocular, 198-203 ventral scales, and 13-14 transverse light bands only on the anterior three-fourths of the body, and by lacking keels on dorsal scales.
