Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: Reported from Congo by Welch (1994) but not by Broadley (1998). For a map with localities in Equatorial Guinea see SÁNCHEZ-VIALAS et al. 2022. 
EtymologyNamed after Johann Gustav Fischer (1819-1889), German herpetologist working in Hamburg.
