CommentCantor is cited after STEJNEGER 1907 who doesn’t give the page number of CANTOR’s three-part paper on Chusan (so the description might be in one of the other two).

Synonymy partly after STEJNEGER 1907.

The type locality of Simotes Conradi may be in error as E. rufodorsata does not occur in Thailand (P. David, pers. comm.).

Type species: Tropidonotus rufodorsatus CANTOR 1842 is the type species of the genus Oocatochus HELFENBERGER 2001.
