Diagnosis 
CommentMember of the Phelsuma lineata (phenetic) group (GLAW, VENCES & ZIEGLER 1999). Phelsuma quadriocellata parva MEIER 1983 and P. pusilla pusilla MERTENS 1964 are the smallest known members of the genus Phelsuma (total length 85 mm).

Max length: 100 mm (hallmanni), pusilla: 85 mm. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “pusillus, -a, -um” = small, tiny.
