joloensis: SW Arabia; Type locality: Jol, north of Zamakh, Hadramaut, SW Arabia.

TypesType: BMNH 1946.8.23.59 (and possibly additional specimens). 
Diagnosis 
CommentSubspecies: Trachydactylus (formerly Bunopus) spatalurus hajarensis ARNOLD 1980 has been elevated to full species status.

Type species: Trachydactylus jolensis HAAS & BATTERSBY 1959 is the type species of the genus Trachydactylus HAAS & BATTERSBY 1959.
