DistributionDemocratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire, Upemba National Park)

Type locality: "Kanonga (riviere), affluent de la rive droite de la Fungwe [elevation 695 m]" [= Kanonga River, Parc National de l'Upemba, Shaba Province, Congo-Kinshasa].  
Reproductionoviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesHolotype: IRSNB type 2.288; Paratypes in ZFMK, IRSNB, BMNH and CM
