Type locality: Angra Pequena, Southwest Africa.

TypesNeotype: DNMNH (= TM) 28301 (designated by BROADLEY 1968) from Luderitz (= Angra Pequena). Donated by F. Eberlanz,May 1963.
Holotype: DNMNH (= TM) [plowesi] 
Diagnosis 
CommentFrank & Ramus (1995) gave “BOETTGER 1903” and “FITZSIMONS 1932” as years of description.

Limb morphology: Limbless.
