DiagnosisDiagnosis: SVL 115–148 mm; TrunkL 3.3 times longer than SFlL; lower eyelids scaly; supranasals in contact; frontal a little shorter than frontoparietal; frontoparietal single; nuchals absent; ear openings anteriorly covered by an overhanging scale; supralabials 9; scale rows around midbody 38–42; paravertebral scales 141–145; limbs very short (SVL/FlL: 12; SVL/HlL: about 9); subdigital lamellae under fourth toe 6–7 (Taylor 1962, 1963; Moravec & B ̈ohme 2008; Orlov et al. 2010). CommentPossibly also in Myanmar as some specimens have been found right near the border in Thailand. 
EtymologyNamed after Harold Young, former director of the Chiang Mai Zoo, who collected the type.
