EtymologyNamed after Latin femoris, thigh and Latin -alis, related to. [“...Durch die Zahl der Femoralporen und die Färbung von P. marmoratus und acutirostris, durch die einkieligen Ventralschuppen von P. gutturosus und liogaster unterscheidbar. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
