DistributionAustralia (arid zone of N Northern Territory and N Western Australia)

Type locality: Port Hedland, Western Australia, in 20° 19'S, 118°36' E.

TypesHolotype: WAM R81843 (1988 Diplodactylus jeanae Storr) 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: A very small and extremely slender Diplodactylus (subgenus Strophurus), most like D. taeniatus but with rostral entering nostril and very wide ventral stripe (at widest occupying half width of abdomen). 
CommentGroup: Diplodactylus michaelseni group (subgenus Strophurus). 
EtymologyNamed after Miss Jean White, a member the Western Australian Museum's Department of Ornithology and Herpetology.
