Type locality: Umtali, South Rhodesia; neotype locality: Nyamziwa, Inyanga, Zimbabwe.

TypesNeotype: DNMNH (= TM) 22367. Designated by Fitzsimons (1958). Original holotype: NMZB (formerly Rhodesian Museum, Bulawayo), lost, fide Fitzsimons (1958).
