DiagnosisDiagnosis: A species of Typhlops with 18 scale rows around the body, without reduction; extremely low number of dorsal and ventral scales; all scale rows pigmented.

EtymologyNamed after Latin paucus, few, little + Latin squama, a scale. (Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., April 2024)
