Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A slender, short-snouted blind-snake with very small eyes, 18 midbody scale rows and nasal cleft proceeding from second labial and completely dividing nasal scale. Further distinguishable from guentheri and grypus by non-black tail and less numerous ventrals (fewer than 500 v. more than 500).
