Type locality: "las margenes del Rfo Cauto, Birama, Provincia Granma, Cuba"

Diagnosis 
CommentSpecies group: Norops sagrei species group (fide NICHOLSON et al. 2012).

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024.
