CommentSynonyms: Listed as synonym of Anolis lemurinus lemurinus by PETERS & DONOSO-BARROS 1970: 58. Not mentioned at all by NICHOLSON et al. 2012, 2018.

North Ecuador populations at south distribution look some different as at North in Colombia [Castro, F., pers. comm.].
