Diagnosis
Comment	Illustrations: Stejneger, 1917; Barbour and Ramsden, 1919; Peters, 1970. Synonymy: Listed as synonym of A. lucius by BOULENGER 1885. Species group: Anolis lucius species group (fide NICHOLSON et al. 2012).
Etymology	The species name, argentum, is the nominative Latin word for silver, referencing the silver coloration of some specimens of this species.
