Type locality: Imias, Guantánamo Province, Cuba; emended by Schwartz, 1968, to mountains (Sierra del Purial) north of Imias, Guantánamo Province, Cuba; also emended by Garrido and Jaume, 1984, to coastal cliffs near Imias.
