Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Poe (2016) considers the diagnostic characters suggested by Köhler as insufficient to distinguish between A. laeviventris and kreutzi.

Species group: Norops auratus Species Group (fide Nicholson et al. 2012) 
EtymologyNamed after Joerg Kreutz, who made hemipenial drawings of anoles.
