Diagnosis
Comment	Venomous! Synonymy partly after BROADLEY & HOWELL 1991. Listed under “Colubridae” by BROADLEY & HOWELL 1991. Distribution: not in Angola fide Branch 2018. Subspecies: the status of Aparallactus capensis uluguruensis is unclear (D. Meirte, pers. comm., 3 Feb 2014).
Etymology	Named after Albert Günther (1830-1914), German-born zoologist at the British Museum.
