Type locality: Monserrate Island, Baja California.  
ReproductionOviparous.

Diagnosis 
CommentBelongs to the Aspidoscelis deppii group (fide REEDER et al. 2002).

Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin pictus = painted.
