Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Bearing in general close resemblance to Verticaria sericea (Van Denburgh), of San Jose Island, but with longer muzzle, somewhat shorter hind legs, frontal not in complete contact with second supraocular (because of interposition of granules), lighter general and dorsal coloration, and bright blue color not only ventrally but high laterally on head and neck, body, extremities, and tail, as well as on dorsal aspect of tail, at least distally (DICKERSON 1919: 472). |
