Type locality: Carpapata, upper Chanchamayo Valley, northeast of Tarma, Dep. de Junín, Peru.

DiagnosisDiagnosis. An Atractus close to bocourti in coloration, but differing in having ventrals 146 as opposed to the much higher range of 170-182 in females of bocourti known to us.
