Type locality: Brasil, Sao Paulo, Praia de Massaguassu, Caraguatatuba.

TypesHolotype: MZUSP 17565, male; paraypes: MZUSP, males and females; MCZ. 
Diagnosis 
CommentVrcibradic et al. (2006) suggest that the “agilis/caissara/heathi clade possibly represents a single widespread species” but do not propose explicitly to synonymize them. 
EtymologyNamed after Portuguese caiçaras, name given to the inhabitants of the coastal regions of the southeastern and southern Brazil. (Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., April 2024)
