Diagnosis 
CommentType species: Calamorhabdium kuekenthali BOETTGER 1898 is the type species of the genus Calamorhabdium BOETTGER 1898. 
EtymologyNamed after Professor Dr. Wilhelm "Willy" Georg Kükenthal (1861-1922) who worked for the Bremen Geographical Society. He traveled widely, including to both the arctic and East Indies.
