Type locality: Pedra Branca (as Pedra Blanca) Is., 43° 52’ S, 146° 59’ E, off southern coast of Tasmania.

Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed for Audubon Eric Palfreyman (20 October 1911-1999 May), draper and sailor, first person to land on Pedra Branca Rock, where he collected the type specimens. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
