DiagnosisDiagnosis: Ceratophora tennentii is distinguished from all other Ceratophora by the com­ plex, laterally compressed rostral appendage (Fig. 4) (vs. rostral appendage not laterally compressed in all other Ceratophora).

EtymologyNamed after Sir James Emerson Tennent (1804-1866), an Irish lawyer, politician, and traveler.
