CommentSynonymy partly after SMITH & TAYLOR 1945. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin quinque, five + Latin vittatus, wearing or carrying a ritual vitta. [“...Dos et dessus de la queue parcourus par cinq bandes longitudinales, trois noires et deux grisâtres...”].
