TypesHolotype: location unknown (not in MNHN), a 520 mm specimen (Rodrigues) [fide V. Wallach, pers. comm.] 
CommentDespite contrary reports probably not present on Sicily (E. Razetti, pers. comm.). Coronella girondica amaliae Boettger 1881 is not recognised by most authors (Saint Girons 1956).
