Distinguished from Indo-Pacific congeners by combination of: fused interparietal and frontoparietal shields, medium size (maximum SVL <44 mm) and modal values of 16 fourth finger subdigital lamellae, 19 fourth toe supradigital lamellae and 9 palmar.
