CommentHas been reported from N Honduras (valley of the Rio Aguan). Not listed for Honduras by KÖHLER (2000). Not listed for Honduras by WILSON & MCCRANIE (2002). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin palearis, of straw, straw-colored. [“...dorsal crest pale yellowish...”].
