CommentAbundance: quite common, with more than 300 specimens collected (Pianka 2011)

Limb morphology: 5 digits, 5 toes (Singhal et al. 2018, Cogger 2014) 
EtymologyNamed after Timothy Marcus Stephen "Mark" Hanlon, an Australian herpetologist who worked with Storr.
